Byron Bay Mobile Mechanics is owned and operated by Phil Murphy, a highly skilled mechanic with more than 15 years experience in the automotive trade. Originally from London UK, Phil started his career working mostly for respected specialist garages including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Fiat and Honda.

 

In 2012 he came to Byron Bay, and like many of us who have settled in the Northern Rivers, he fell in love with the lifestyle and relaxed pace of life.

 

Phil is a fully licensed and trade qualified mechanic in Australia. He has spent the past four years working for a highly respected mechanic in Byron Bay, where he has gained experience in domestic vehicles such as Ford and Holden (and how passionate their owners are!) as well as popular Asian models such as Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Kia , Mitsubishi and Hyundai.

 

Through his personal experience and talking to locals, Phil discovered that there is room in the market for something different. Busy people want convenience! It’s a hassle to drop your car off at the mechanic and be without it all day, or longer. A light came on, and the idea of Byron Bay Mobile Mechanics was born!

We will service and fix most makes and models of cars, caravans and trailers and will take on both small and large jobs.

 

Phil prides himself on being personable, professional, reliable and reasonably priced. But most of all he values honesty and integrity, and believes it is this that will set him apart from the rest!
